In March, I was approached at Hearthstone Coffee House and Pub in Fishers by a fellow named Steve Irvin. He was sitting with a colleague, and he said to me, “We’ve been talking about you.”

“Oh?”

My portraits were hanging on the walls at Hearthstone, and he recognized me from the tags. He asked me if I might be interested in doing custom portraits of his staff, Acuity Environmental Solutions.

So, after meeting with him at his business, and meeting his terrific staff, we agreed to 12 drawings (or so). It has been a wonderful experience working with Steve, Ray, Edie, and everyone at Acuity. They are fantastic people and do great work managing and completing remediation and environmental compliance contracts throughout the United States.

The initial set of drawings has been delivered, and I will get them posted here in short order. In the meantime, you can check them out at my Facebook page.

Work on the remaining drawings continues as we speak….

Last year I received an invitation from Sueanne Shirzay, a dear Twitter friend, to become part of her online effort to help those who suffer form domestic violence. The site, What We Did 4 Love, sells arts and crafts and contributes 10% of the proceeds to the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

Of course, I jumped at the chance.

Today, The Long Beach Patch published an article about What We Did 4 Love, and how starting the site has been the fulfillment of a long-standing dream of Sueanne’s.

Drop on by, and let Sueanne know you appreciate what she is doing.

Well, after a few days of manic shuffling about, I have found a new Photo Slideshow Viewer, and have installed it on my Gallery pages. It has some rough edges, but work very well.

Many Fine Art pieces are for sale. Each has a price in its description. To turn on the descriptions, click the little question mark circle. I will happily ship anywhere… for additional fees, of course.

The Graphic Design section showcases some of my work. Fees for each type of design work are listed.

Thanks for stopping by!

There was a major bug in the newest version of my picture viewer plugin, DM Picture Viewer. Consequently, the galleries are looking pretty pathetic right now. I’m in the process of changing over viewer plugins, but this is proving to be very slow, as I need to re-install and re-format all images.

I will be including more vital information with each image, like date, size, media, and price. There will also be a way to contact me about purchases.

So, bear with me. We’ll get it done ASAP. In the meantime, jump over to my Facebook page for the latest images and complete gallery (link is to the left).
