I started drawing when I was very young. During High School I continued my artistic pursuits, branching out into painting and photography.

I went to college as a General Studio Art major. There my drawing skills improved dramatically, and I found myself interested in portraiture.

I have lately turned to painting in oil, which is a difficult medium to control. My studies here focus on technique, and I've found that it's easier to develop brush skills through landscapes. But, the attraction to portraits eventually compelled me to push my oil skills in that direction.
